Journey through a wintery world in the company of Jimbo, the shy snow elephant, in our Far, Far Away storytelling concert for children (aged 0–5).

Aurora Orchestra’s much-loved family concerts continue with a magical journey through a wintery world in the company of Jimbo, the shy snow elephant. Help Jimbo to shuffle like a penguin, hop like a toad and sparkle like a thousand fireflies as he realises his dream to become a dancer.

Blending beautiful chamber arrangements of Debussy’s piano music with a specially-commissioned story from writer Kate Wakeling, this immersive musical adventure is presented by Rosanna Ter-Berg and dancer Mia Theil

MOZART IN THE GARDEN

Mozart in the Garden

Role: flute, piccolo and actor

Wander among the lavender, wiggle with worms and snooze to the music of a twinkling firefly. Join players of Aurora Orchestra and presenter Lucy Drever for a playful stroll around the garden.

This immersive storytelling concert features new chamber arrangements of Mozart’s music and an original story from Kate Wakeling, critically-acclaimed poet and Aurora Writer-in-Residence. Audiences are invited to listen, sing, dance, and enter a magical world of music, discovery, and play.

For children aged 0–5 and families, featuring music from Mozart’s Eine kleine Nachtmusik, Clarinet Quintet, Concerto for flute and harp, and other works.

London Rhymes has developed a fantastic live show for families and children aged 0–8, developed in 2022 with support from Arts Council England – Rhymes LIVE!

 It's a song explosion of a show, presenting highly original, eclectic and interactive songs that have been co-written with families on our projects since 2015. Bringing together the talents of five incredible musicians from our team (voice, flute, trombone, guitar and percussion), the show takes the whole family on an exciting musical adventure, meeting instruments, sounds, songs, colours and a few animals along the way...

EMILIA

Rosanna was the alternate musical director of the Globe’s transfer of Emilia to London’s West-End (Triple Olivier Award winner). In addition to directing the all-female cast of actors, she also performed on-stage with flute, voice, keys and drum.

An immersive contemporary music show for children aged 7-12. With visual effects, sound design and movement. All children on the stage.

'Musique de Table' (after caffeine!) by Theirry de May In rehearsal with Down The Rabbit Hole in Ghent, Belgium just before our first show for 7-12 year olds. In partnership with LOD. I'm a rhythm fanatic, so this job was RIGHT up my street!

'Shopping no.4' by Michael Maierhof, in rehearsal with Down The Rabbit Hole. A balloon trio, all of what your see and hear is scored out. This was part of a show (JUKEBOX) for 7-12 year olds, all using contemporary classical music in a unique an engaging way. It uses very specfic balloons blown up to an exact circumference, gaffa tape marked out and strapped on to precise measurements, and wet sponges!
