“I’ve worked with Rosanna on the Live Music Now scheme for the past eight years. She is a fantastically versatile musician, equally at home on the concert platform or in a Special School making music with disabled children. It has been wonderful to know that we can place her anywhere and trust her to come up with the goods every time. She has been an excellent ambassador for Live Music Now!”

- Nina Swann, Director of Live Music Now, South East

EDUCATOR

Rosanna is passionate about collaborating and creating music as a way of communicating with people. She works as an animateur, musical director, composer and teacher on creative music workshops and projects across the country and further afield. She gained a deeper insight into the animateur world through the invaluable training she received at Spitalfields Music. With an extensive background in performance and working in theatrical and dramatic productions, Rosanna also shares this practise in her work in educational settings.

Rosanna’s teaching is influenced by her wide ranging studies. After studying as a classical musician, she  looked further into music and teaching traditions across various types of improvisation, latin music, kodaly, dalcroze, edara (solfege/aural training), konnakol (Indian rhythm), and klezmer.

As a musical director, she has worked on Emilia in London’s West End, and Der Neue Mench (Germany).

With Live Music Now, Rosanna frequently delivers tailored workshops and residencies in SEND schools and Dementia Care Homes and has toured the country giving interactive concerts to similar audiences and also for mainstream schools.
